P’9521: Porsche in Your Cellphone

Sports car enthusiasts (especially those with the name of Porsche) would be thrilled to know that the Porsche Mobile Design Group has jumped into the bandwagon to join the countless manufacturers of mobile phones. As of now, specific details are quite rare – almost next to nothing, we believe but what we have heard is enough to get one’s pulse racing from 0 to 60 in a few seconds.

All that is known right now is that the phone sports a rectangular look – sharp yet sleek – and that it falls under the flip phone category. The news is that it is going to have an integrated camera and a multimedia player. Of course, no phone manufacturer in their right minds would release a new mobile phone today without these two features. With all the other phones in the market having cameras and media players as standard features, it would be suicidal to produce a mobile phone without them. So pretty much, as of today, all we know about the P’9521 is that it would at least match the most basic of mobile phones which are already in existence.

Then again, this is not just any mobile phone – it has got the Porsche logo slapped onto it. That just might be the selling edge for the P’9521. Porsche is not totally new in the gadget arena as it has had a couple of products released, namely a sat nav device and a portable XM radio. One thing we can be sure of, though, is that the mobile phone is going to come with a pricy tag
