Meizu M6 Mini Player SE Finally On Its Way

June 10th, 2007 · No Comments

Meizu M6

The Meizu M6 Mini Player SE is finally in progress and set to ship in August. The fantastic mini player is a blend of its predecessor, the Meizu M6, and the the Meizu Music Card. It retains the great features of the Meizu M6, including the 2.4-inch QVGA display for video, while taking cue from the Music Card when it comes to size going for the ultra slim size of just 7.0 mm (0.28 inches). To make it slimmer fans are speculating that the 700mAh battery currently being used for the Meizu M6 will be replaced with a smaller 500mAh battery.

For those who haven’t really encountered the Meizu Player before some of its features are:

  • Supports MP3, MP2, WMA, OGG audio files.
  • Supports AVI video files.
  • Voice recording.
  • FM radio broadcast with Bass and Treble adjustable.
  • FM radio recording.
  • Mobile Disk.
  • Synchronized song lyric showing.
  • Text view.
  • Photos browse.
  • Games.
  • Multi-language Support (for those worried about having to understand the Chinese characters).
  • The upcoming Meizu M6 Mini Player SE is rumored to only be available in an 8GB version (no more cheaper 4GB versions for you). Its greatest competition is of course still the iPod Nano. For those who are price concious the Meizu will be readily declared the winner since it will be sold at an incredibly cheap price of US$130 (999 CNY), about half the price of an iPod Nano.
