Planning on sneaking out of your office cubicle for a stroll at the beach? Always getting caught for bringing your wallet and a duffel bag? Now sneaking out is easier with SpyderSurf’s Reef Stash Sandals.

The sandals is a pleasant innovation in a product line that has seemed to run out of potential for something new. (Come on who thought that there would really be novel flip-flops coming out?) The Reef Stash Sandals looks like an ordinary flip-flops and is made of the usual mish mash of materials that nice looking sandals are made of. The upper and underlayers are made of synthetic Nubuck for comfort while the outsoles are made of rubber for durability. The highlight of the product is of course the pull out drawer located at the heel where you can stash valuables like your cash, keys, credit cards…and your company ID. The drawer is made of nylon and is enclosed in soft polyurethane to blend in with the sandals.

My only concern with this product is if it can keep your valuables dry. There is nothing said about the drawer being waterproof. So if you feel like buying one you’d better test it out in the water with some scratch paper on your heels before hiding stuff that shouldn’t get wet there. And if you do plan on sneaking out wearing your new flip-flops better bandage your toe and complain of your ingrown.
