Dream Car for Disabled Kids

Dream Racer Technology

Watching your friends race cars is fun. It is even more fun to race with your own car but when you can’t hold the controller you just have to content yourself with watching. Right? Wrong!

Dream Technology has come up with a new technology that allows individuals with limited upper body mobility to play with their own RC cars. The technology, called Dream-Racer is built into a baseball cap that serves as the controller so you can do away with the usual joystick. All you need to do is tilt your head in the direction you want the car to move and off it goes. Super cool. Now disabled kids can pretend that they have telekinesis on top of being able to race with other kids.

Of course for the Radio-Control Cap to work you will need to have RC cars compatible with the controller. Nikko radio controlled RC cars are available on the Dream-Racer website and can be purchased for £159.00 to £185.00. The prices listed for the Nikko toy cars already includes a control cap as part of the package. If you want to buy a Dream-Racer Radio-Control Cap without purchasing a car and plan on adapting it to your own RC car you can buy it for £99.00.

Want more? Wait for the upcoming Dream-Gamer that they are developing as a Sony Playstation controller! I can already imagine the number of patients lining up in front of the doctor’s office because of a stiff neck.
